Fourth consecutive ranking for Suciu Popa among the world's top tier arbitration practices
05 June 2020
The 13th edition of the prestigious GAR 100 listing published by the Global Arbitration Review a short while ago has included Suciu Popa for the fourth consecutive year among the world’s leading international arbitration practices.
GAR highlighted the firm’s impressive track record in the four years since its establishment, with a special emphasis on the latest landmark 100% win for the Italian electricity company Enel, who praised the team’s professionalism and capacity to offer “first class international arbitration services combined with the best understanding of local laws and practices”, as a “mix of capabilities […] unmatched in the Romanian market”.
Managing Partner Luminita Popa, Head of the International Arbitration practice of Suciu Popa and Court Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, commented: “This fourth consecutive ranking in GAR 100 honors us. GAR’s high standard criteria for being considered a law firm “approved” for international arbitration are reputation, amount of work entrusted by clients and experience and we have been checking all these boxes every year, being consistent with the specific features of our dispute resolution practice: truly international and dedicated to complex, sophisticated mandates”.
