Luminita Popa, Managing Partner, has been re-appointed as Member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce for the following 3 years. Her appointment by the ICC World Council was proposed by the President of the ICC Court.

The ICC International Court of Arbitration is the leading international arbitral institution for the resolution of commercial disputes and has been resolving international commercial and investment disputes since 1923, being the decision-making body in the ICC arbitration system.

The Court has a membership that currently totals over 195 individuals from 121 countries and the new configuration of the ICC Court for its 2021 – 2024 mandate makes it the most gender and geographically diverse composition in the history of the institution.

“The ICC Court is of great importance to international business and stands out as the most preferred arbitral institution. I am very happy and feel privileged to have the opportunity to continue my work at the Court. I look forward to building upon the experience acquired during my first mandate and working with my fellow members and the President of the Court to ensure the quality and enforceability of ICC awards” said Luminita Popa.
