He has an extensive experience, having been involved in a wide range of local and international transactions, advising multinationals or leading local companies in industries such as power & renewables, oil & gas, consumer products, private equity, telecommunications. His professional experience also covers real estate & construction matters, where he advised clients on the whole range of due diligence and construction permitting issues, as well as in land zoning and planning.

Selected relevant experience

Advising a multinational brewing and beverage company, in relation to the sale of its Romanian business to a Japanese brewery and soft drink company, as part of a cross border transaction including businesses in Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, with value exceeding USD 7 billion.

Advising a large Maltese group in relation to the acquisition of a business centre located in northern Bucharest, having as tenant the largest private hospital in Romania.

Advising a large FMCG and cosmetics distributor in Central and Eastern Europe, in relation to the buyout of the minority stake in its Romanian subsidiary, as well as in connection with various corporate and tax and related matters.

Advising a leading international provider of facilities solutions to the oil & gas production and processing industry, in connection with the sale of its Romanian business and its exit from the 15-year production enhancement contract for nine mature oilfields concluded with the largest Romanian oil and gas group.

Advising a Canada based open-ended limited power trust in relation to the acquisition of two players in electricity generation field, as well as of a top player on the electricity trading and supply market.
